    HISTORY & INTENT

The Warnen Repository began in 1821 as an Asylum.

During this precursor period, the Repository was entitled as "Versehen Hospital" which located itself within Baden-Wurttemberg.

throughout the course of those times, Versehen Hospital was dedicated to the reconciliation of the mad. Unlike it's colleagues in other institutions, Versehen Hospital was not a place of confinement, but rather a shelter for the maddening ideals. Often criticised for it's indulgment of individual's delusions, the hospital grew as a pioneer in the preservation and study of mental illness, despite it's peculiar and widely disaproved methods of treating patients..
